The aim of the present study was to investigate the catalytic activity of copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles in the photodegradation of ciprofloxacin as a model pharmaceutical pollutant. The CuO nanoparticles were synthesized using Ferula. The biosynthesized CuO nanoparticles showed high photocatalytic performance and ۹۲.۹۳% of ciprofloxacin was degraded in the presence of this efficient photocatalyst.
