WASTE MANAGEMENT APPROACHES IN NORTH OF IRAN

Abstract:

Waste outputs include not only solid and liquid materials, but also effluent discharges; atmospheric emissions and lost heat are considered in waste definition. This paper, firstly, will focus on methods of solids and contained liquids management and the landfill design of Langrood - a city at seaside of Caspian Sea - will be evaluated finally. In addition the methods of waste management and disposal , environmental conditions of transport stations , kinds of waste and other more important managing parameters in this region are analyzed by this paper and also several solutions are presented .
