Investigation the density of Nox spread out by the chimneys of gas unit and steam unit in shahid modhedge power plant

Abstract:

In ahvaz city , shahid modhedge power plant is one of the air pollutant sources, and Nox is one of the pollutants carried off by the chimneys of the power plant . the necessity of conducting research into the spread of Nox is indicated by the fact that Nox effects on the human and other living things is variable and un favorable . In this essay , through field studies and then by collecting information and data which were required , and using the screen2 model , I obtained the density of Nox spread out by the chimneys of gas unit and steam unit in shahid modhedge power plant from a distance of 500m to 30000m. off the power plant (given the regional dominant wind). Then using the software called Arc GIS (version 9) , I demonstrated the acquired amounts in the above – mentioned distance and in the affected area on the geographical map of ahvaz city . in fact , the areas affected by various amounts of Nox , along with the nature of their applied were located. this essay can be a scientific source on the rate of Nox spread from the chimneys of gas unit 1 and steam unit 2 (the Nox regional sources) of ahvaz shahid modhedge power plant , for the purpose of an appropriate management presented to the environmental protection administration .
