Abstract:

Where there is a hydrophobic molecule, pollutant molecules join to an object that has the most similarity to them, so the nonporous polymers that are the same as these pollutants, are the best method for separating this type of organic pollutants from water and soil. By using cyclodextrins as main components of these polymeric objects, a new group of organic porous polymers are created. These are able to reduce concentration of pollutants to parts – per – trillions in water. These polymers purify water sources if they get contaminated by oil leakage from tankers in the seas. Their viscosity power is about 100/00 times more powerful than connection of these usual absorbents likes: activated carbon. Construction and organic pollutant separation by nanoporous polymers from water are discussed in this study.
