Abstract:

In this study the impact of various growth media on the certified wheat varieties (Triticum aestivum var. gonen 98) have been investigated. As a ten different growth media, Hewitt growth solution, Saharan dust solution, Zabol dust solution, Ankara dust solution and distillate water as control solution at irradiated and non-irradiated condition have been utilized. With this purpose, leaf length and weight, photosynthetic pigment and metal analysis have been performed. The findings of this study indicated that, wheat varieties fed by irradiated Saharan dust and Zabol dust solutions gave comparable results to Hewitt growth solution especially for chlorophyll-a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll and carotenoid. In this study metal analysis was determined and the level of Iron is in maximum in plant that fed by Saharan dust solution.
