Some researches has examined the views of many managers from Irankhodro company in Tehran on a number of main factors such as whether organizations are currently doing enough to develop the next generation of leaders. Facts and views considered in this paper includes: Who is a leader and what is leader effectiveness? What is management and who is an excellent manager? What do managers seek and what don’t they want from their employers ? What are the position and the role of HR? What is leadership? What are the main factors for organizations willing to improve leadership and management development? What are the main challenges and opportunities for management development?
