Abstract:

Japan is a volcanic island located on an active plate rim . In this study we used GOCE satellite gradiometrydata to realize relation between the gravity field parameters and huge earthquakes and their geophysical and geodynamical interpretation, it is possible to detect the major plate tectonics boundaries in the study area. we found the important correlation between the geoid gradient and tectonic plates and it has consistent with rhetorical results.
