Abstract:

One of the most factors in increasing or decreasing the amount of losses in case of natural disasters is the existance on non-existance of an efficient crisis management system considering special characteristics, the natural disasters and events are very complex and extensive, so they necessitate adapting special management strategies. In fact in order to prevent the occurence of natural disasters or decrease their effects, we have to overcome the crisis resulting from natural disasters besides the technical discussions and planning about crisis management. If the problems resulting from the crisis will not be anticipated, the expenses of reconstruction and repair of the damages resulting from the crisis will be very high. After discussing and studying the crisis management in unforeseen events and natural disasters in this paper, we will refer to the performance of the crisis management in earthquake of Kobe-Japan on 17.Jan.1995 and recent earthquake of Bam-Iran.
