Abstract:
Winter storms look like snow and rain disintegrate the roofs of many buildings in one year. The snow in the 1383 in BAHMAN destroyed more that 10000 number of buildings and had about 500000000 dollar economical damages. In the part of industry destroying of more than 100 production unit unemployed more than 1000 people. The storm that the snow raining create alone do not break the roofs with repeating the snow and going that on the snow who is remaining on the roof the load of road will be more than the live load that are designed for that. The snow load of RASHT was more than the live load in IRAN code but from the information of the structures that damaged we see that there are many problems in design and construction of the structures. This paper is written for improving of management methods and survey the hazards of the winter storm and discuss about the many kind of structural systems that they damaged in the snow load.
