Abstract:

masonry structures have many number in country, that passed earthquake show their amount of damaging. These structures are constructed in IRAN in 2 group one of them is the un reinforcement structures without the engineering design and has the maximum amount of damaging among of the structures in economical damages and people life. Destroying the masonry walls in all over the world increased the technique of re construction of un reinforcement walls. One of these technique is using the FRP composites. This paper explain the definition of damaging in the structures and the configuration of the FRP and the reasons of using them and first accounting of them.
