The analysis of the vulnerability of residentional areas in the process of integrated disaster management (The combinational approach {GIS} )

Abstract:

]Natural disaster have always been threatening factors in man’s life. Although the time these disaster may occur is not predictable , the severity of the negative consequences can be reduced via solution finding and precautionary plans. The progress of new analatical equipment, has made it possible for the management and planners to take actions for controlling disaster and preparing combinational models of information and information banks of the location (GIS) are types of such equipment , which can provide combinational results from the individual layers of information. Using the combinational method of individual layers of information in a GIS location , in one of the areas of Tehran (1st area) ,this article has tried to asses the application Of this technique on recognizing the disaster areas within a city. The result show that there is a meaningful difference areas of the each layers, with the residential areas of the city and with identifying the weight if the factors and their combination.
