Role of Technology in Risk Reduction (It miraculous gift in managing the crisis)

Abstract:

Earthquake is one of the activities of the earth’s crust and is necessary for its life and we, human beings, try to comfort ourselves by linking it with our fate and God’s will but most of its casualties and mortalities is because of weak management and lack of planners’ attention to the educational, functional and preparatory substructures. Although a crisis like earthquake can not be prevented, by understanding the principles of crisis management and using new techniques we can reduce its bad effects. In this research plan, after describing the problem and necessity of lack of gathering the organized information in the whole centers, lak of time management, careful planning before earthquake, ability of quick action for aid, rescue, control and guidance, aid activities and sent aids, the way of gathering information has been dealt; for example maps, pictures, checklists, statistical and identification characteristics of employees and students and aid equipments have been regulated in a compressed board and kept in a secure critical room. So applying information technique in managing the crisis result in facilitating the work with high volume of data, errorless data, quick exchange of data quick organization of human and financial forces, having time management and rescuing more people, identifying the dead and wounded and quick starting the schools and offices.
