Abstract:

If earthquake is simultaneous with the opening of schools, unfortunately will have the highest range of mortalities between the students; for example in the earthquake of Ghayenat of Arkool village in 1997 14 out of 15 students were killed in a class and a guidance school with 100% destruction was closed at that time. And if the earthquakes of Bam and Zarand were simultaneous with the opening of schools, the number of casualties and mortalities would be more than this, because the whole learning centers of Bam were destroyed and even if morning earthquake of Zarand had happened 1/5 hours later (at 8 o’clock in the morning), with respect to a large amount of worn out schools and students’ fear and their rush toward the exit door, more students would have broken their hands and legs or affected with cerebral stroke. So we should in vest basically in this biggest learning center and increase the awareness level of this group so that it has a more obvious reflect in the society. This article has described the whole duties of immune committee in schools and also the whole cares before and during earthquake. Furthermore, the role of schools for aid has been mentioned. They are Fairly big environments with independent rooms, management personnel available in different parts of the city. That place is regarded as the best place for shelter and playing role. So with respect to about 90000 old and vulnerable schools in the country and the need for renovation and resistance, we have committed ourselves to make this vulnerable group aware.
