Seismic evaluation and retrofiting methods used rebuilding masoury buildings based on the experience of rebuilding constructions after BAM and LORESTAN earthquake

Abstract:

Based on the experiences of recent earthquakes in Gilan, Zanjan, Bam and Lorenstan constructed buildings in our country are really weak (damageable) against earthquakes, because these constructions are designed according to old instructions without paying attention to requirements in case of earthquake and new instrutionsalso faults, other problems such as poor supervision escalates building damage. Reinforcement of these buildings against horizontal forest through reliable, simple quick and economic methods is necessary Increasing seismic resistance based on various methods, will be associated with some per formative problems as well as architectural change. Re controlling all construction elements is inevitable and it is obvious that element control should be done either in completely or local. We intent to present some efficient procedures and applicable methods for seismic reinforcement of irresistible or semi resistible construction.
