Investigation on gemorphological influences of recent drought occurrences and local monitoring them, in semi arid mountainous,s catchments (With attributed to field documents)

Abstract:

The semi arid mountainous,s catchments are the most sensitive area for the drought occurrences .The outcomes of drought occurrences are very major ,critical and last long time in these area.The steep and instable slopes ,spare vegetations ,shallow soils ,overgrazing and many other factors are causes for quickly response to drought.The segments of many systems are sensetive to changes of precipitating and drought occurrences in these area .Due to continual drought changes are major and sometime critical.Dameges of recent drought occurrences are severe in catchments of Sahand mountain ,specially in catchments that they located at western slope of this mountain .Vegetations on upward of Azarsharchay,s catchments that they fed by spring , removed from slope surfaces ,in recent time and after dried of spring.Thereafter that vegetation is removed ,condition are suitable for activity of many type of erosion processes on slopes,especially for rilling and gulling processes. Walnut is as national wealth in Azarbajzan .Follow on drought occurancce,Walnut wood is dried.Due to reduce of Walnut products,increase of dispute villagers on water share and any attention liable persons on suitable management of water,abandoning villager the villages.For cited reasons ,in over time,is increased the abandoned villages.At downward of Azarshahr,s catchememt around of Ormihe lake, forms of the drought outcomes is vary.The increase of area extent of Playa land and advance of brackish water,are manifestation of drought occurrences .This paper is presented many type of drought outcomes in mountain catchments ,in sample catchment.This paper is results of study on outcomes of drought by use of local monitoring ,collecting of field documents ,and take of GIS technic .
