Abstract:

the vital role of schools is completely obvious, because school are dispersed in the city closed daring crisis , and have large and health services They usually have one or two floors with independent classes so they are suitable places for settlement formation of crisis management center , collection and distribution of helps at the time of earth quake . But when schools are open at the of earthquake , unfortunately density of students will exacerbate the event , and the highest rate of casualties is among this vulnerable group ; For example 124 students of a school were killed because of the earthquake of Philippine in 1990 , over half of the students and teachers of Ardkool primary school were died at the earth quake of Gha'enat in 1376 , and all of the 180 schools of Bam were completely destroyed at the earthquake in 1382 , but schools were closed special issue : In addition to likelihood of openness of schools and its synchroni2ation with earth quake , there are about 90000 old and vulnerable schools in the country , so education and administrator of renovation organization of schools spend enormous expenses for construction and reconstruction of educational areas ever year . Experience shows that some of the buildings crack during the first year and after passing one year , there is no supervision for repair and immunity equipments by specialists . Do established educational areas correspond to the standards of construction or not and are all the principles of immunity observed against fire and earth quake in the projects of school construction ? Statistical community : 3679 schools of 30 regions of kerman , whit 1451 strong unit and 1448 destroyed unit and 780 units to be strengthen . 1. Established schools two years after the earthquake of Bam and zarand , 344. 2. administrator of school construction . 3. heads and students of destroyed and reconstructed schools during the tow pre vious years . Research method : Research method with respect to those avaible , is descriptive and measurable . Analysis : Kerman schools do not correspond to the standards of construction , and specialists will supervise them only one year after construction . The students of the established school have recently suggested that in spite of the firmness of the building , they will be injured , because of the lack of preparation against earthquake , and other schools are doomed to fatalism . the standards for designing educational building against earthquake include : 1- to avoid applying glossy materials in floor . 2- to avoid applying glass door . 3- to protect windows in such at way that students can escape if necessary . 4- to provide a room for health and first aids . 5- to install sufficient exit doors . 6- to make at least two exit doors for those classes with more than 50 students . so in time of crisis in addition to time management , attempt to save more people is effective for organizing , collecting and distributing of contributions . we hope that in future there is no catastrophe such as the earthquake of Bam in which the whole schools were destroyed
