Showing Abstract of Lessons learnt front public participation in recostruction ofresidential and commercial units of earthquake stricken regions in Lorestan Province
One of the most important issues in the reconstruction process in the presence and active, voluntary, creative and committed participation of the different segments of society in decision making, planning and undertaking of necessary measures in the process of relief and reconstruction of earthquake stricken area. Therefore , with regard to the importance of “public participation in reconstruction”, and by utilizing qualitative and quantitative reconstruction role players and the City Village Council members. This research has studied public participation in reconstruction process of the earthquake stricken area of the Lorstan Province . the speed and trend pf reconstruction however , some of them have not been successful in attracting public participation . Due to this reason, and in order to increase and give a direction to this matter, it is necessary to define and determine mechanisms through training , information and detailed supervision by specified headquarters in the field of reconstruction.
