Abstract:

Wavelet transform analysis suggests a new method for processing of signals through decomposition capability relate to frequency and time. In this study have been used "Sym2" wavelet transform for considering debit and precipitation parameters of Agichai river basin. August with minimum fluctuation has least risk and October and May with maximum fluctuation have highest risk that must be taken spatial attention in flood studies field. This method showed reduction of computation time, without considerable reduction in accuracy of results. Wavelet power spectrum, it is possible to determine regions of maximum and minimum curves. This technique is capable to reservoir optimum operation and risk analysis with econoic management of reservoir.
