Abstract:

In this study the amount of sediment entery to the Emmam Khomaini Irrigation networks by SHARC model have been investigated. To do so, sediment samples were collected three times. At the same time the cross-section and water surface slope were measured. The data was used to compute the sediment at the end of settling basin by SHARC model, The computed data was compared with measured data. The comparision of results have shown that the model is capable of predicting the sediment trap efficiency very accurated.
