Abstract:

There is not much detection on variations of Reynolds stresses through the bend and it may because of two reasons. First, the lack of high accuracy tools till recent years and the second; the turbulent properties have not been recognized yet. In this research by making an approximately wide bend with rigid boundaries in the laboratory, the variations of Reynolds Stresses, through for different discharges using an Acustic Doppler Velocimeter (ADV) had been measured. The results indicate that the Reynolds stresses varying through bend but not like the same.
