Abstract:

HEC-HMS model was been applied for flood forcating in RoodZard Basin; That is located in South-Western of Iran. Six rainstorms on the watershed and near of it and six flood in outlet basin with same time were been selected. Then model parameters were found for SCS method of HEC-HMS model. These parameters are included: curve number (CN), initial abstraction (Ia) and lag time (Tl). Three observed hydrogragh selected for calibration and remainder applied for evalution. The results show that fitting of observed and simulated hydrograghs for quantity of peak discharge was verified. Difference of time to peak for observed and simulated hydrograghs were equal or less than one hour.
