Study of Effective Factors on Decrease of Over Excavation of Tunnels in Blasting and Excavation Method

Abstract:

Inclination of people to different basing excavation is the reason that the researchers had many studies on these spaces. Tunnel construction methods can be divided in to 2 different methods; excavation and blasting, mechanical excavation. Choosing each of them is depending on the place that we construct the project there, but the first method is using more because of its low costs and flexibility of that. In this paper attempted to motion the results of first method in the construction of the project. In this project we considered factors like low small slope of field, minimum thickness of layering in the zone and application of numerous joints in blocks fall potential on shell and walls of tunnels that it can be provide more gaps on the shells. In the first because of do not having enough attention on the using the excavation and blasting method look like the choosing the good way and using the PISHAHANG tunnel there was more excavation about 20 to 30 percentage that do tunnel be instability but with considered the above factors it be controlled the length of tunnel about 5 to 10 percentage, and was the reason of frugality in the time and expensive of project.
