Abstract:

Karsts or underground spaces which are organized because of penetration the surface waters and flushing the limestone and dolomite rocks; are cases that must considered in excavation of tunnels. One of the main hazards that must be considered in internal shell of built tunnels is: stones falling and shrink of basement waters and pressures of them. This paper explain that how to hurt with one of this karsts or underground spaces, and is interesting because of its very big dimensions.
