Abstract:

The that the proposed simple formulae by the auther are re-examined by the recently published data based on the results of in situ observation. the comparisons show that the proposed relationships have rather excellent coincidence with the available observational results. Furthermore , the width of parabolic region of ground deformation is estimated for different types of soil in two classes of cohesive and noncohesive.
