Abstract:

Tunnels and under pressure water wells are constant instruments in power plants, and used for transfer of water from dams ponds to power plant places in downstream of the river. It must be survey accuracy the cover of them in the period of utilization in front of the first maintenance because they transit from rock mass or soil in the geotechnical condition. In the tunnels that are under pressure, seepage of water is the reason of changing in the width of cracks and decries of seepage. As the result of decreasing the pressure of water in tunnels it will be decreases the amount of arrangement and distribution of cracks in concrete lining systems. In this paper they survey hydromechanics mutual effect of this phenomenal and design of Gotvand tunnel’ cover based on limitation standard.
