Improving the reinforced concrete lining in under pressure section of water transfer tunnel in GAVSHAN

Abstract:

Using the new method in engineering designing will improve the planes and increase the expenses of projects. About designing the reinforced concrete lining for under pressure tunnels, the end plane was give with professor SCHILEISS from Switzerland university, and after using that method you can see improving and design of reinforced concrete lining in project. These methods are used in GHAVSHAN tunnel. Details of this method are come in this paper and first they survey factors of surrounded in tunnel and then it choose the suitable cover for GHAVSHAN tunnel. Results of surveys showed that reinforced concrete lining is suitable for this tunnel in the other part thickness of cover and percentage of reinforcement system and reinforcing steel in concrete are designed in the end and compared with the results of SAP 90 analysis.
