Surveying the special soil settlements in the effect of shallow tunnels

Abstract:

This paper explains the matter of soil monitoring in the effect of shallow tunnels. With looking at the results that find from constructed projects we could see the importance of the problem. Then came the results of PLAXIS software, This accounts studies the effect of many factors on settlement for tunnel without cover and are construct with comparing the 2 results. Fortunately results of accounts and the results of experimental measuring are look like each other. Because of this can be sure from the results of timing settlement results, and in the condition that the soil properties are not same with making use of the suitable software that show the condition of the settlement can compare them with each other. In the end rate of the end settlement to the other are given for many condition like dept of tunnel, width of tunnel, kind of soil. Numbers that find from this accounting can use as a maximum limit of settlement when excavation the tunnel.
