Giving the mathematical model based on normal vector distribution for analysis the discontinuity surface properties

Abstract:

Studies of properties of discontinuity are importance because of it’s effect on the mechanical properties of rock mass. This paper give a way for analysis the surface geometry and that are based on statistic survey of the discontinuity surface properties. It will seen that this kind of distribution are different in the condition that the normal vectors are find, that show the scaling properties. All normal vectors in 2 dimensional kinds have element that are on the unit circle, This kind of elements are famous as a circular elements and studies of them is survey in handy statistics discusses. About this kind of elements appointment of elements must be on around of the model. With expected of statistics equation in the RIMANI space it ill given an equation for surveying the surface thickness. With making use of this method we will show that how can estimate the --------- in a linear profile. We survey 3 kind of artificial profile and 3 kind of real stone.
