Estimating of internal water flaw to tunnel with making use of the water pressure tests

Abstract:

Water flaw is one of the problems in tunnel projects that can have many hazards on the plane and have effect on tunnel operations. In this way it must be estimated the place and the amount of water flaw to inside the tunnel and is considered in the tunneling. Passed experience show that is not easy the estimating the appointment of all effective factors on water flaw. This paper explain a way for estimating seepage the water inside the tunnel. In this method long term steady state inflow and the amount of external water from the front of the tunnel that are flawed in first parts of excavation. In this method important problem is appointment of seepage factor of rock mass that distribution of it’s amount are estimated with the results of water pressure tests. As an actived example this is used in GHAMROOD project and the amount of seepage the water in -------- units of tunnel way that are considered of shoil slit and FILT and SHIST. Results of this method show that many parts of units without GHONHA and fault will have not big problems in the amount of internal water.
