Abstract:

Excavation operation is one of the dangerous operations. With available statistics all years in big projects many people are damaged and died because of do not observance of safety points. Today, in many countries for the importance of this matter excavation operation and observance of safety points they provide the standards and difference information. In Iran in some engineering documents are provide information for safety in excavation that some of them are considered: safety and conservation of work, rules of codes and safety rules in structures and rules of fire fighting. This paper compares the foreign codes with internal codes. In this compares the foregin codes are consist of: ESHA code, excavation construction code, construction methods of safety organization in CANADA.
