Comparing the design methods of basement spaces with joint zones

Abstract:

This paper gives stability analysis and designing the tunnel with 3 method, experimental, analysis, numerical. Geology and geotechnical information that are used in this paper are choose based on first studies in water transferring project of GHALAMROOD. Propping system of tunnel are given to 2 method that are considered of: RMR, Q. Then with analysis method propping interaction cure and draw stone experimental method are surveyed. For surveying the monitoring of rock mass a numerical method are build with UDEC program and the monitoring of rock mass are studied. In the end for comparing the numerical method with analysis method, earth curve are draw with UDEC program that the results will show the simplifying of them.
