Distinction of dimension of rock blocks in around of excavated spaces with computer modeling and giving the guide for primary propping

Abstract:

Joint selections and existing discontinuity in rock mass are provide rock blocks. After excavated the basement and open spaces the blocks are effect on stability and un stability of structures. Dimension of these blocks are one the important problems of stability analysis of rock shearing and basement analysis in rock mass. This parameter is important in designing the blasting. The dimension of rock mass is important but the measuring of it’s dimension is difficult. The size of stone block are appointed with the 3 index of rock quality, RQD1, JV2, IB3, that any of them can not show the accuracy dimension of the rock. in this researching they provide a software that can portraitist 3 dimensional blocks in contact of joints and the other discontinuity (fault) and can modeled the basement and open excavation spaces. This software can draw the histoblock and blockometery and can give guide to primary propping.
