Abstract:

Water transfer tunnel of GHAMROOD has these information: length is 35750, angle is .13 percentage for transferring the 23 meter ^3water in 1 second from DEZ to GHAMROOD, and constructing operation of that are started since 1381. Constructing and designing the 3 and 4 section of this tunnel with the length of 18 km are gave to KHATAMOLANBIA organization. With looking at the maximum length of the tunnel and 5 years limitation in constructing that and with the week methods in tunneling they must use mechanical methods in excavation the tunnel. With looking at the geology condition and the way of tunnel the machine for excavating the tunnel with 17400 meter from 17700 meter are choose and the engineering way of that with making use the help of foreign and internal engineers are choose. And after that the buying of this machine done. In this paper with giving he engineering information in choosing the need machine the way of providing the engineering information and choosing the best structure are explained.
