Abstract:

A series of donor-(π-spacer)-acceptor porphyrin dyes as photosensitizers have been studied. In these systems porphyrins have donor and acceptor as well as π-spacer groups. Donor group contains an electron donor moiety and acceptor group contains an electron acceptor moiety. These systems have been designed to decrease chargerecombination therefore the efficiency of cell would increase
