Abstract:

Climate changes in many regions of Tajikistan will have adverse consequences ( for national economy, natural resources and public health. Without adequate adaptive measures the damage caused by natural disasters and severe weather events (mudflows, avalanches, hailstones, high temperatures, etc.) will grow, and the risk of disease outbreaks and death rate will increase. For minimization of climate change adverse effects it is recommended to elaborate regional program "Adaptation to the conditions of changing climate". Keywords: Adaptation, Agriculture, Ecosystems, Climate Change, Health, Hydrologic, Malaria, Tajikistan, and Vulnerability.
