A study Of Pneumoconios Incidence In Coal Miners Of Kerman And the of saty Principles observed by them 1376 1998

Abstract:

This cross- sectional study carried out to investigation prevalence oil pneumoconiose , coal dust concentration in pabedana , Hamkaar ,) Saraspardeh , Babnizoo and Hojetk coal mines and observance of safty) principles against pneumoconios by the worker of aformentioned mines In I this research 1000 worker selected by random cluster sampling method (on) the base of Age , experience and location of work ). The data were gatherd ) through interview , reading of chest radiography films , and information in I worker file such as spironietry Dust concentration determined by tondeloscoop Diagnosis was confirmed by internist and radiologist for data analysis, descriptive statistic and chi- square test were used The results showed that % 21.8 workes were afflicated . from the safty point of view , % 75.6 were used dust masks always and % 25 8 changed their mask filters every 15 days and % 74.2 mor than 15 days There was The significant relationships between prevalence of pneumoconiose and usirig mask and changing time of mask filter (P < 0.01 and P < 0.05 respectively ), So that the prevalence of disease among the workers who using mask and changing filter every 15 days was less
