Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to consider the occupational musculoskeletal discomforts , the measurement of its prevalence among miner's in the case control study method and at last the identification of occupational musculoskeletal discomforts from the ergonomic view points by " PLIBEL " checklist and " Nordic " Questionarie . The number of case group is 105 and the number of the control group is 30 Questionaria results obtained which ; the prevalence rate of musculoskeletal discomforts is 70.5 percent ( 40 . 5 % at the low back and 18 . 9 % at the feet ) among the case group and among the control group is 36.7 percent ( 54 . 5 % at the neck and 27.3 % at the hands . ) That this discomforts in the case group with job and working duration and the control group with age of the Miners have been significant relationship . ( a = 0. 05 ) . Also Ergonomic surveys obtained which unfavorable body positions , unsuitable tools , unstandard workplace , noise and Vibration are the important occupational causes in the musculoskeletal discomforts . According results of this reserch for reduction of prevalence and prevention of occupational Agents general suggestions presented in three main : 1) The proposal to remove or optimization of unfavorable working posture among the Miners .
