Abstract:

The roof collapse and rock fall is and the most accidental factors in under ground mines . Its importance is as much as can help to know the seevity level of mines On the basis of available statistics in the world cold mines with progressive methods for mining , approximately athird of all accidents are because of big falling and rock collapsed that in comparison with our countries mines which haven't modern instruments and tools , the have a better situation . This matter is as much as important that I deemed necessary to present a assay to wise masters and co- worker miners of our country. This assay includes of these matters : An analysis of effective factors on big collapse and rock falling as like geological situation of layer and its surrounding strata. Presentation of suitable methods for prevention and protection of rock falling on the basis of technical security - economic and training point. To propose that establishing a security inspection organization in mines and a metals a national institute of security investigation and mines health. We hope that with application of proposed methods it can be reeduce the mine accidents as much as much as possible.
