Abstract:

Sungun cooper mine located 120Km. Farfrom Tabriz. Runof mine ore after extraction will be proceed and concentrated in a plant site. Therefor a big slope(more that 100m) in south part of Dash-Dibi hill prepared by drilling and cutting, which have potential of rocks and large blocks with negative dip at the top of the slope and because of fall threaten plant and its necessary to make a rockfall hazard analysis. The rocks in the top of the hill are Trachite-s blocks and they are from small size blocks to large size ones. In this paper the site geology and hazardeaus zone has been studied. The region has devided to two less danger and high danger part. The high danger part classified based on RHRS classification method and 690 grade has been got. Three kinds of blocks(smal1, moderate and large) in the high danger part are existed. The large blocks whitout dyndmics force are staibel. The moderate blocks have negative dip, therefor these blocks shold be scaling befor building the plant. Also the small blocks stabiled by fence, fill and slope scrrening.
