Abstract:

Environmental pollwtion, in modern and develoing societies ,is a ma'or problem and each day it is becoming more rmportant and rn drfferent countrren of the world rs wrdely evafuated. The envrronmental effects of man activition on ecosystem eaurlibrium could be considered an a branch of earth sciences and is known an "Environmental Geochemstry. Abnormal concentra ron of h e y metals in environment is considered as pollutantfactors and their over limit concentrations in water and sor cause adverse health effects for human. Than, in regions which are naturally rich in metallic resourcs or due to excavation, transportation andprocessing of metallic ores, the metal substances are distributed a wasr areas could be polluted Isfahan rovince is and area ,wilh lots o mrning activifies, High concentration olhe elements in cretaceous cargonote rock and Jvrorrc shale o d s ormed many mrnes such as Gooshf?ll mrne Z c h 15 about 3km west of Sepahan-shahr town in south of lifalan Lty. In order. to evaluate the e ects of excavation, processing and trans ortin activitin in Gooshfili mine on the nearby environment s ecral8city of sepahan shahr. many so11 sumpis at $&rent spacrng were taken for datermining lead zinc andPcadmium. statisticala nal sis of the results wing winsurfsofMare shows that, the concentration of lead zine and cadmium near city ofsepahan-shahr is low but as closer to the mine, the concentration increase. Cornparin these mesurements wrth world standardr, idicates that, the concentration of these metals is not in critic3 condition for sepahan-shahr environment.
