Reclamation of Sarcheshmeh Copper Mine

Abstract:

Reclamation of mines as inseparable part o general design of mine must be considered from initial stages of mining operations . Therefore in addition to achieving environmental life , some parts of the lands return to production cycles . In this research with respect to the required paranteters for mine reclamation , a general study of the present and past environmental conditions of the Sarcheshmeh copper mine area is carried out . A chemical analysis of soil and water samples in different sections of the studied area are presented . Finally , with consideration of the Sarcheshmeh copper mine area conditions , all possible alternatives regarding the reclamation of the pit side produced by mine extraction, and mine spoils are investigated and recommended .
