Waste Distribution Investigation in Layer Ci of Block 1 in EastJParvadeh Coal Deposit of Tabas

Abstract:

With increasing of energy consumption, in the world exploration and extraction of coal mines have move interesting. In recent years coal prices have risen dramatically. With higher steel production, exploration of coal for coking purpose is great demands in many governments and big mining companies. With respect to raw coal exploration programs in Iran new plans have been implemented to reach this goal. One of the most important parts in coal exploration for coke production is evaluation of ash, moisture, water and sulfur contents in the coal. In addition distribution investigation of these materials in the minable coal is highly important, in designing of coal washing plant. In this paper, ash, moisture, water and sulfur contents of layer Cl of the block 1 in East_Parvadeh coal deposit in tabas region is investigated, along with exploration is this work. This layer is one of the best rninable seams in the Parvadeh region of tabas. Results from recent explorations drillings in this block, and investigation of the qualitative properties of parameters in this layer of this block, were used along with suitable software for chemical analysis yielded results of the chemical analysis of for different samples, which statistically has been determined. Two and three dimensional distribution of ash, moisture, water and sulfur contents in the layer has been drawn and interpreted by proper software. In final, analysis of statistical results and the designed models have shown the good quality of the coal layer Cl for mining purposes.
