Abstract:

During the years of 1 977-2005 at the mines and coal washing plant of the Kerman coal complex 2896 accidents were occurred. The average frequency of the accidents was 2L51 accidents per one million man-hour of work exposure. The severity of the accidents and frequency-severity index were 0.29 and 0.08 respectively. The evaluation of the accidents revealed that total number of fatally accidents were 30, the most of them were determined and a total cost of 4,410,300,000,per year obtained, which means the approximately 6763 rials per tone production.
