Abstract:

In the today industrial world, most of the workers had to conform themselves with the unsuitable conditions that are imposed on them by the environment and the utilized equipment. The lack of body correspondence causes the body ills such as skeletal-muscular ills which are the most common occupational effects. According to the available statics, about 48 percent of the whole occupational ills are the concentration hurts which are created by the mechanical and physical factors and they are in the group of the skeletal-muscular ills. This research is graded study in which the skeletal-muscular effects and their relationship with the body position are studied while 45 workers were working in Zarand different industrial, productive and service sections. 3 groups of people who were in three different professional positions were chosen: 1- standing for long time 2- sitting or standing with a bend head, trunk and waist 3-repeated action. The Noordic questionnaire was used for the performance of this research. K square and Pirsion correlative coefficient are used to analysis the data. The results of the K square test showed that there is a meaningful relationship between every one of the skeletal-muscular effects and workers professional position.( x2 =5.99 , a = 0.05). It means that the body position is effective to appear the skeletal-muscular effects while the person is working. Working position of the 3rd group has the most frequency (50.5 percent) and the working position of administrative has the least frequency (44 percent). Among the discussed body members waist (64.5 percent) and thigh (11 percent) have orderly the most and the least frequency. The minimum age was 28 years old and maximum age 46 years old with the average of 37 and standard deviation 1.3 years. The most frequency was related to the group of 34-40 years old and the maximum of record of service was 4 and 20 years with the average of 10.4 years and the standard deviation 1.73 years. The record of service (9-15 years) had the most frequency. (Frequency means the percent of the observed skeletal-muscular effects). Also a meaningful relationship was found between the age, record of service and occupational absences with the obtained effects. Correlative coefficient (0.34) was obtained between the age and obtained effects, it means that the relationship is straight and defective. Correlative coefficient (- 0.15) was obtained between the record of service and obtained effects, it shows the reverse and defective relationship. And correlative coefficient (1) was obtained between the occupational absences and obtained effects that somehow it shows the straight and complete relationship. According to the obtained results, practical ways and ideas are commended to reduce the muscular skeletal effects.
