Abstract:

In the present investigation dispersion of suspended matter from Azna ferroalloy manufacturing plant has been studied. Dispersion modeling has been made by SCREEN 3 model. Results revealed that in worst case atmospheric condition maximum ambient pollution concentration will not reach over 750 ug/m3. To meet the Iranian ambient air quality standards, bag filters in the plant should be operated more than 97% of time annually. On the daily basis, operation of bag filters more than 85% would achieve the ambient standards.
