SOBM: Service-Oriented Business Modeling

This paper proposes a new approach for business modeling based on Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles, called SOBM. This approach is empowered by SOA benefits such as loose coupling, business agility and traceable transition from problem domain to solution domain. SOBM targets especially business modeling discipline of any information system development project that is going to use SOA as the reference architecture for software development efforts. SOBM introduces an additional view for modeling business architecture, called business service view.
