A Novel 10 GHz high- speed and Low Power Comparator in 0.18 μm CMOS technology

In this article a high-speed and low power comparator, that can be implemented in 0.18 μm CMOS technology, ispresented. By using a novel structure in the proposed comparator,a high gain is obtained. Furthermore, a strong latch is developed to maintain the desired output. The supply voltage is 1.8V. By using the results of simulation with Hspice software, the clock rate، resolution and power consumption are 10 GHz, 40 mV and 0.9 mW,respectively.
