RANKING OF FUZZY NUMBERS BY THE ANGLE MEASURE

In this paper, a new approach for ranking fuzzy numbers based on the angle measure is introduced. In the proposed approach some left and right spreads at each chosen r-levels of fuzzy numbers to determine center of mass points (CMPs) is used, then the angels between the CMPs and the horizontal axis is calculated and finally the total angle is determined by averaging the computed angles. At the end, the novel method is compared with other methods by solving some numerical examples.
