Improvement the Performance of Solar Micro-Inverter by Using Fuzzy-Adaptive Controller Based on the Physical System Modeling

Solar inverters are one of the most significant components of the solar micro-inverter which convert the produced DC power to AC power synchronized with the grid frequency. Many different parameters including system power and efficiency are effective on the structure selection of solar inverters. The Fly-back inverter is one of the best choices for application of 200 to 300 watt which is recently considered in various practical papers. In this paper, an enhancement is done in the performance of solar micro-inverter by using fuzzy-adaptive controller based on the physical system model. This controller is used in the current control loop and the result shows the significant improvements in the grid injected current quality. Stability analysis by using robust control theorem is one of the advantages of this method. The obtained controllers are available and utilizable in practical applications.
