EASum a new Persian summarization system

Text Summarization is condensing the source text into a shorter version preserving its information content and overall meaning. It is very difficult for human beings to manually summarize large documents of text. This paper introduces EASum a text summarization system for Persian documents. It exploits a combination of statistical, semantic and heuristic-improved and abstractive methods. In this paper, we first review the related work in this field, especially for Persian text summarization. We then present the architecture of EASum, its components and features. The last section evaluates the system
